I saw this somewhere and I recalled when a friend of mine came to the house to tell me what happened the night before.
According to him, he was about to 'bang' this girl when she started singing a gospel song and in my mind I was like what a combo?
You are fornicating and playing gospel song, are you trying to remind God you need to be punished or something? I don't and will never understand.

PERSONAL ||| HOW PHIYAH

Back to the post of the minute 'how phiyah', before I start getting too much messages and emails on how I came by the name 'PHIYAH' I want to address it in this post.

During my last days in high school, I came across this book titled names and it meaning, I didn't have a nickname then so I decided to search the book, luckily the owner agreed to lend it to me, going through the book, I saw a greek name Sophia meaning Wisdom and I fell in love with it, throughout my remaining days in high school I nicknamed myself Queensophia-Queen of wisdom.
Years later, I didn't see the need to add Queen to it anymore so it was just sophia, I started looking for way to confuse people and I got it—SAWPHIYAH(Sophia). Last year I met someone who said he'd rather call me Phiyah and that was how Phiyah came into the picture.

Hello sweetheart! meet the writer of phiyah style, my name is Abang, Maryrose and I just started this blog like this morning and this is my second blog post - here is my first blog post.
I'm 300level student of Animal and Environmental biology(AEB) formally known as Zoology, University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.I am from cross river state, ogoja to be precise–proudly ogoja born.
Currently doing my IT at life link specialist laboratories, uyo.

ABOUT ME:
Few months ago when someone ask to know about me I'd tell them what I wrote in the second paragraph but recently I came to understand that I have a crazy loud voice aching to be heard, in any situation i find myself, i prefer to write than talk - i recall when i had an issue with my bestie, I couldn't talk to her straight-up, i had to chat her up even though we were in the same room, laying on the same bed, yeah that's how it is for me. I'm also passionate about fashion and beauty(you bet, I'm getting better by the day).

 WHERE YOU CAN FIND ME:
You can find me somewhere between 'the develop me' project, staying positive no matter how hard it is, encouraging/inspiring others and working so hard to proof to life that i'm too big to be swallowed – smiles.

CONNECTION WITH ZOOLOGY AND BLOGGING:
when I tell people I blog, they ask 'what's the connection between zoology and blogging'? well this is what I always tell them, Zoology is a profession while blogging is a way of expressing myself to people without having to face them, for fear of being judged, or blaming myself for hurting their feelings.
ONE OF MY BIG DREAMS:
Having a personal blog was one until this morning.
Having a fashion house is one of my biggest dreams, I love to see people look good, I love it even more when I am credited for their good looks, there's this unexplainable joy that comes with the good look credit. Let me stop here for now, as we spend time together we'd know more about each other.

MY FIRST BLOG POST ||| WHY I STARTED BLOGGING

In my head, this blog has been up and doing for a while now but here am I making my first blog post with a 'not too good' feeling.

For sometime now I've wanted to get a personal online space where I can pour every emotions, challenges, struggles, disappointments, happy moments, moments like this, and every other moments you can think of.

writing this~my first blog post, I'm not sure of the feeling but it isn't all excitement, it also has fear in it.
The excitement - this is all I ever wanted to do, to tell the world that I exist, to connect with people of my kind, tell them they are not alone and share the positivity to everyone out there willing to tap from me.

The fear - I fear that when it get to tough, I might quit or allow myself to get swallowed by life again, I fear that I might lose friends and my life won't be normal anymore but anyways right now I'm completely ready for everything I'll get from the world.

To open this blog, I had to kill procrastination & laziness and I hope they are dead gone. Here is the one reason I opened this blog:
To connect with people, tell them they are not alone and together we can and will survive despite the many obstacles.
